Carson and Barron Farms

“If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want”

-Zig Ziglar

Carson and Barron Farms is a multi-generational family operation. It began in 1966 when Ralph Carson and Pete Barron joined in a partnership and farmed together for 10 years. In 1976 they formed Carson and Barron Farms, Inc. which is now comprised of President Chris Barron, along with Rick Matthiesen, T.J. Matthiesen, and Jason Franck, all Vice Presidents in the operation.
The operation was heavily involved in pork production in the 1970’s and 1980’s and in 1996 transitioned primarily to crop production and a Pioneer sales agency which has been a part of the operation since 1972.
