Harvest Guard Solutions debut

Hosted by Shay Foulk · with Nathan Albert

About This Episode

Shay Foulk and Nathan Albert launch Harvest Guard Solutions, a maintenance and support service built for farms running John Deere equipment. Albert traces the idea to a familiar waste: someone changes the oil in the fall, nobody writes it down, and the plug comes out to clean oil in the spring. The service connects to John Deere Operations Center through its APIs, pulls every machine and serial number into one app, and lets you add anything else by hand.

The app works on phone and on the web. Machines synced from Operations Center carry their manufacturer logos, while manually added items such as a pickup, a four-wheeler, or a lawnmower show a lightning bolt. You log part numbers, filter costs, and quarts of oil right at the machine, and the home screen tracks yearly maintenance cost. Members also get Pro Service access plus technician-level support, which Foulk frames as the full-time mechanic most farms cannot afford to hire.

Albert, who took dealer calls at John Deere's Dealer Technical Assistance Center, lays out the roadmap. Diagnostic trouble codes route to the Harvest Guard team as well as the operator, so someone still watches the alerts a farmer has silenced. Aggregated failure data would move service intervals earlier, turning a belt that shreds at 1,000 hours into a 900-hour check. Longer term he wants plain-language alerts with an action attached, and a scannable maintenance grade for used equipment.

Our vision is to have a barcode on the side of the piece of equipment. You scan it, you have an A+ machine maintenance history.

Nathan Albert

Key Takeaways

  1. Onboarding takes about 15 minutes and is followed by a consent form, Operations Center access setup, payment, and a scheduled one-on-one call.

  2. Equipment already in John Deere Operations Center syncs automatically; anything else, including pickups and lawnmowers, can be entered manually.

  3. Harvest Guard receives your diagnostic trouble code notifications, so the alerts an operator has muted still get watched by someone.

  4. Albert plans to shift checks ahead of observed failures across the fleet, for example moving a belt inspection from 1,000 hours to 900 or 850.

  5. The long-term goal is a scannable maintenance record, graded like a report card, that follows a machine to its next owner.

  6. Machine data is stored by model with no names attached and used only to match symptoms against prior repairs, not sold.

Shay

Foulk: Welcome back everyone to another episode of the Ag View Pitch. Today with a special edition on HarvestGuard Solutions with Nathan Albert. Nathan, how are you today?

Nathan

Albert: I'm doing really good. How are you, Shea?

Shay

Foulk: I'm excellent. I'm very excited. You know, we've been working on this project here for, seems like almost a year now. I don't know if it's been quite that long, but to give the listeners a review, we, had been in touch, you know, in 2025, looking at some solutions around maintenance, data tracking, service notification, and just some areas that we got a lot of information in people requesting an outlook on how do we improve what we're doing on the maintenance side? How do we better track all of these things that we're trying to manage? And more importantly, how do we get the service that we need out of the people that we're working with? And so that's where HarvestGuard Solutions kind of came to fruition here. Of let's put all of those in a single package.

And today, as we record here in early March of 2026, we have a viable product that has come to fruition that we want to make sure that our listeners are aware of. We want to talk through the service offering and very excited about this. But Nathan, I want, if you would please, you know, just give a recap of kind of the genesis of this idea with your history and then where are we at today?

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, no, thanks. Thanks for the intro. You did a really good job covering all that. Yeah, we dusted off this idea about a year ago and started rolling with it. And it all kind of came from, you know, working on the farm. It's like, how many times have someone you work with on the farm changed the oil on the tractor in the fall before you go and park it for the year? And then in the spring, you're running through everything and you pull the plug and you're like, oh, that's clean oil. Oh, that's right, we did it, you know, and you're just throwing money away all the time. Um, and then you start kind of putting the idea together and you're like, man, if you had one big nice organized record book, um, of it, all of your equipment, when I go to sell that piece of equipment and pass that history on to someone else, like, there's value there, there's money there.

Um, and then you start adding everything else into it, right? The lack of technician support when I need it, um, the lack of understanding what that number is, or that warning that pops up on the screen, you know, when you're planting and you want to finish, like, what does that really mean? An engineer might understand it, but tell me what it means to me. You start putting all those things together. And, you know, a lot of these equipment manufacturers really weren't doing us justice. They weren't there when we need it.

Shay

Foulk: And we don't, and we don't want to pick on them too bad, because it's, it's the opportunity for people like you, people like us in this space to build a better tool to build a better service offering and package than maybe part of what their core focus was as the equipment manufacturers. And so I wanna jump right into the fact that the HarvestGuard Solutions offering as we move forward here, particularly it's gonna focus heavily on the John Deere folks because that's where the data integration is currently with future outlooks for connectivity with other machines. We'll talk through that here a little bit later. But what people are getting today if they, sign up for HarvestGuard Solutions and can complete the onboarding form. Uh, Nathan, you have your screen shared here that there's a little tab on harvestguardsolutions.com. You can go complete your onboarding.

Once you do that, um, the team has all of your information internally for some further outreach. But instantly, uh, when you sign up as a paid member, you get access to Pro Service, which is technician-level data for managing your equipment that even if you have it currently, it's like, well, what are you doing with it? And so that's where HarvestGuard comes in of we're now the service, we're the support, we're the offsite technician available anytime to help give you insights into your machinery. So maybe the full-time mechanic that you can't afford to hire in your farm, now you have access to that data. Now you have ways to track your equipment maintenance. And we're 100% in production with Deere. So we're connected to the APIs, We're providing the service and support. And when I say we, I mean our involvement with HarvestGuard Solutions.

But Nathan, this is you and your team that's really heading this up. That's exciting. I mean, people should be pretty pumped up at the idea of we now have an outside expert that can come in, provide consulting, provide advice, give you some insight into what's going on in your machines. We've not seen anything like that before.

Nathan

Albert: No, not, not to this level, right? There, there's maintenance apps out there where you can down— you can enter your information into, but it doesn't give you anything back, right? There's your dealership, you know, and they do a great job, but they're understaffed, you know, they're getting pulled a lot of different ways. So this, this is really a unique package of what's, what's going on here. And You know, John Deere, they've done a really good job putting together ProService, but we're just utilizing the tool that they're, they're providing and we're getting that to the customer so they can utilize it to the best of their ability and be as efficient as possible.

Shay

Foulk: So let's talk about that. I really like how you said that of there's lots of maintenance tracking apps out there, but they don't give you anything back. You know, maybe they're keeping the data internally. Maybe it's just a way for you to kind of stay organized, you know, a single place to put the information. But that's where HarvestGuard Solutions is different. If you wanna pull up the web app here of a, you know, we now have a workable mobile app that will pull up on your phone or on the website like you see it here that has all of your equipment connected. It documents the maintenance that you've done in the background. And now we have so much information that we can do with that moving forward. I mean, you referenced the sales and things like that. Talk about that a little bit.

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, so right, right now, like once you onboard, we build that connection with John Deere Operations Center. So any equipment that you already have in John Deere Operations Center, if it's called machine 1, machine 2, that's what it's going to be called in our app. We're pulling all that information over. It's, it's a clean, easy to use app, not cluttered with a bunch of stuff. But as you're seeing here, you're going to get an interactive map that you can come in and look at your machine locations at. It gives you a list of your machines here with the serial number and behind the scenes numbers. We'll clean those up. But then my yearly maintenance cost for my farm. I don't have everything quite entered in there. I'm working through some of my historical files, but And then you can come in here and you can click Add Maintenance or Service Record right from the home screen.

Makes it nice and easy. You can come in and click that. Equipment list. Again, this is a master equipment list. Anything from power units to platforms to tillage equipment, you can put all that stuff in here and, and have the ability to track maintenance on it. Now all of this stuff with the logos came from Operations Center. These little lightning bolts down here, these are manually added pieces of equipment that I added myself. So you could put in a pickup truck, you could put in your wife's Tahoe, you know, you could put in your four-wheeler, lawnmower, anything that you want to track. We're not going to limit you. Right now the only requirement is that you have to have an Operations Center account so we can at least create your account. We're working to change that. So if you don't have an Operations Center account, you could still come in here and use the maintenance app.

Shay

Foulk: And this works on both phone and web, just as we mentioned earlier. So, you know, the ability for multiple members of your team to access this, I think that's pretty straightforward, right, Nathan?

Nathan

Albert: Yeah. Yep. I, you know, everyone always has their phone on them, right? So I was out at the farm the other day and I changed oil on the tractor. And, you know, before I, you know, it's just another tool. You go and you put away all your tools and then you pull out your phone, select your tractor. You know, here's my invoice I went and got for my filter. So I have the part number and I have the cost of that filter there. I know how many quarts of oil I put in. I write it all down and then I put my tools away, put my invoices in my folder, stay organized, and then I can go out and get back to work or grab the next piece of equipment.

Shay

Foulk: So I want to hit real quick because I think, you know, you gave the example of changing the oil and this is where I think people really need to pay attention. Nathan, you know, let's say you're in season, you're planting, you get a rain delay. And Nathan, you reached out to a customer and you said, hey, you know, I noticed this notification that you had coming up. There was something going on with fuel, you know, indicated fuel filter issues. Hey, go ahead and change that. And then let's take a look at the information. So now what are you getting back out of it? This is where Harvest Guard Solutions comes in. If you're able to say, okay, Shay, you went in, you changed that fuel filter, you changed that oil filter, and you changed the oil in it. Look what your machine performance did on the backend. So we're now correlating diagnostic issues to proven results on the backend.

So that's a solution for step one, you know, when we get a notification on the backend with the HarvestGuard Solutions team. But then step two, let's fast forward this across hundreds, thousands of machines, Nathan. Now you have the ability to do predictive analysis or you have the ability to get ahead of some of these issues that are maybe much larger than just, hey, dingus, change the oil. You're looking at belts, you're looking at motors, you're looking at electrical issues. That's the long-term vision here. Can you talk, can you, can you paint us a picture of what you just talked about with the maintenance management, which is, has value and is important to where are we going?

Nathan

Albert: Yeah. So all that stuff can happen and that's where we're going. But the step one is we got to get organized, right? So that's why we're starting with the maintenance app, because when you call your dealership and you say, hey, I'm experiencing this problem, 9 times out of 10, they're gonna be like, okay, what's changed? What have you done? Have you done anything recently? Have you wrenched on anything? Like, they want to collect that background information, right, to identify if something went wrong when they were doing it. Or like when I worked at— in DTAC, Dealer Technical Assistance Center, with John Deere, I took these calls from the dealership. So that was the first thing I always asked. Hey, Mr. Dealer, what did you do to the piece of equipment so I know if something happened during this repair? Right? We already have all that information.

If you're staying up to date, we can quickly look back and say, hey, here's his repair history. You know, I can look at this timeline and say, oh, you have a fuel-related problem. I see you replaced this fuel line yesterday, right? Or a fuel filter 2 days ago. It might be related to that. We shouldn't have a restriction if you just changed your filter, right? So I can get a little bit of that information. Supply you a better recommendation or a more accurate place to look without having you do a whole bunch of diagnostics or a whole bunch of work, right? Um, but yeah, in the future what we'll be able to do is create smart checklists and smart notifications. So if you change your oil, um, at 500 hours And then you're done with your season.

Obviously we don't have to change it again at 600 hours, so we're going to remove it from that post-harvest checklist and we'll move it out until the next interval of which the oil needs to be changed. Or if, Shay, if you're, you know, states away and you have the exact same tractor as I do and you broke a fan belt, shredded it, and it took out like your whole hood and all that stuff, and that happened at 1,000 hours. And now, uh, you know, Chris Barron over in this state had the same thing happen at very similar hours. We're going to pick up that trend, and now we're going to move that check to 900 hours or 850 hours and have people start checking for frays on belts and stuff like that. And, and the way technology is, we're going to do it automatically, right? We're going to pick up on these failures and we're going to move them ahead of time.

So now everyone's checking those belts before it becomes a problem. And at 900 hours instead of checking it, it's cheap. We're just going to replace it because it's way better than the downtime in the field and the hood and all the other stuff that's going to break as a result of it if we let it go.

Shay

Foulk: So let's talk through— I think you have a great segue there to— all right, I'm Mr. Farmer. You reached out to me and either, either at today's offering or in the future, you know, because there's, there's ways that that applies both. Both places there and you say, okay, you need to check your— you need to check the belts, you need to check the oil, whatever. Talk to me about just general servicing and maintenance right now, because you have this whole list of machines. You maybe have 1 or 2 people that are working in the shop going through stuff, but it's— we only know what we know, meaning there's the issues that we identified the last time we were in this piece of equipment that we know that we need to do. And then you got this big ungodly list that comes from the equipment manufacturer that says you got to do this and do this and do this.

First of all, how do we make that easy for people to go through the checklist and to manage some of those items? And then what is HarvestGuard Solutions' involvement in that, or what might that look like moving forward?

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, I'm glad you brought this up because this is one of my favorite parts of HarvestGuard Solutions. I don't know how many times I take like we used to take our combine into the dealership and they'd look through it, right? Well, you know, our combine, every piece of equipment has like a cookie cutter template of what should be done at specific hours. But everyone uses that piece of equipment differently, right? So right there, that, that list, that checklist is obsolete, right? And if any of you guys have ever worked with like an independent technician, if you look at their checklist, compared to like maybe your dealership's checklist, the independent technician's checklist is way more in-depth. And why is that?

Well, it's because every time they go to somebody's piece of equipment and they find something new or there's a breakdown mid-season, they're the one that gets called to take care of that machine. And therefore they're like, well, you were just out here, how come you didn't see it? Now they're responsible for it. They add it to their list and now they're going to check on that for all those other people. Your dealership's list doesn't necessarily get updated like that unless it's big into warranty and starts causing bigger problems, then it gets added to this list. Or if it's more than a couple years old, it doesn't get updated. So as we identify problems and as problems happen, if, if we can prevent it, we're going to move it ahead to the checklist prior to that failure on everyone else's machine.

So now if we have 1,000 9Rs, right, if 5 problems happen out here in the future, because there's always people that put more hours on it, we're going to collect information and tidbits from them and make it easier for you to maintain your equipment because we're going to slide those failures and into place of where they need to be.

Shay

Foulk: Um, and not only, not only those one-offs though, but even just like the regular maintenance You know, regular scheduled maintenance, regular checklist. Hey, let's get this in front. Shay, I know you guys are going through the shop this week. Here's the pieces of machinery. Here's what we think that you should be doing. Here's one clean file of here's what you should be doing. Is that accurate?

Nathan

Albert: Yeah. Yep, yep. We wanna be based on your notification preferences of how you wanna get information. If you want stuff daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally, we can put that report together for you and provide it to you. But all the time continuously in the background, we're creating a to-do list for your farm essentially. So if it rains, we will get to the point where you can say request to-do list, right? And then you get a list of machines in the order of priority that you need to make those repairs, right? So if it rains, you're getting all fueled up, topping off seed. So when it dries off, you're ready to roll.

You also need to look at this to-do list and make sure that you're fixing these couple things because the last thing you want to do is finally get that 3-day window and nice, nice weather to finish up, getting a day into it and you break down for something that easily could have been avoided.

Shay

Foulk: Yeah. And what you just said there, I think that's huge. It's, it's the preventable things. You know, it's like a safety issue. You never know what you prevented by being safe. So it's hard to measure that. Likewise with the maintenance, you never know what didn't break down because you're getting ahead of it, but you know you didn't break down. Or when you do break down, one of the keys here is you're not breaking down alone. Now you are breaking down with Harvest Guard Solutions as a partner. You can hop on, you're going to be talking with Nathan or someone on the team that's going to say, okay, here's the notification that we're getting. Um, maybe we've seen this issue before, maybe we haven't, but here's what we think it is. Here's your diagnostic checklist.

And now when you go to get parts or you go to, you know, most efficiently manage breakdown and timeline, or even when you, you know, call the dealer. We have examples of customers here from 2025 that they called the dealer and said, hey, bring this part with you so that we address this issue first. And now you're saving yourself a couple hours of trip and time and parts and blah, blah, blah. They get out there, get it replaced, and how'd you know that's what it was? Well, because we have a connected team to help us on the service and support on the back end.

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, yeah. And every, every trip matters, right? If you're way out in the bush and they come out to do the diagnostics and now you don't have a part, who's spending the day driving to get that part? And now you're paying a technician to wait, or is he going to come back when you get the part? You know, that's not going to work out that way.

Shay

Foulk: But let's talk through— I want to hit on, because you mentioned technicians earlier, and I think that's a good point to a natural segue here to say, okay, currently HarvestGuard Solutions has some connected technicians that are independents on the backend. But I think that's even a bigger opportunity moving forward is to bring in, for those of you listening, bring in your local independent technician that can be connected to HarvestGuard Solutions. And now they have connectivity to your machine but maybe the other customers that they're working with, whether it's in the neighborhood or other machines or whatever, now they have a better place to track and manage their data. They have better checklists, they have better backend things. I would think that independent technicians would be pretty darn excited about this.

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, yeah. When I have some friends and local technicians in our area and when I gave them the idea and we were kind of spitballing, I mean, they were pretty excited. Right? Because if in this area of the world, right, we don't see a lot of the brand new equipment and the super big pieces of equipment, right? So by the time the information gets to us in this isolated little area, all these problems have already been occurring all over the United States and the world, right? But it's how come it's such a secret, right? If, if on this brand new combine they've seen this problem on the wheat run. If, if we had some technicians in the wheat run that were able to document that issue properly, then way over here in little old Independence, right, when that problem occurs on a used piece of equipment, hey, we've seen this before, right?

So we're able to pull it up in our system and say these exact same symptoms we've seen before a year ago on the wheat run. This is what they did. These are the steps they took. Oh yeah, yeah, that is the exact same problem. And you start following the same diagnostics, and sure enough, your technician, your private technician, took that part with them when they went to the machine because we've seen it before. Therefore, we're not alone anymore.

Shay

Foulk: And people should be excited about that because what you just said in not so many words is now the more people we have in the Harvest Guard Solutions network the better off everybody is from machine maintenance data outlook. There's gonna be the ability to look at where you're sourcing parts. Are you sourcing parts OEM or aftermarket? That's huge potential cost savings here.

Nathan

Albert: Right.

Shay

Foulk: But the ability to get 10 of the same combine or hundreds of the same tractor or thousands of the same planters in there and kind of build that information out as we move forward, That's what should have people excited because you realize that you're not on your own in the farm maintenance and data management on the backend. We're now doing something helpful to the farmer with that data. And I wanna add in here too, Nathan, because what we're talking about today, this is baseline product. This is a year's worth of time and effort coming to fruition to where now we have a viable product to give to the farm operation and say, hey, let's start getting the data, let's start doing the maintenance tracking, let's look at connectivity, let's provide value to your farm instantly. But as we move forward on this timeline, we really wanna build out what the farmer wants.

We don't wanna just tell you, here's the product, here's the tool that we built, now pay us for it. No, we want to build what the farm operation wants. And so there's a tremendous opportunity with not only that vision and mindset in place, there's a tremendous opportunity to create tools that are super practical and applicable for your operation, for your specific application. Man, I'm pretty pumped up about that, honestly.

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, I don't know how many times someone said, oh, don't you have that app? And you go out and you get this app and it's a cookie cutter app and you can use it for one thing and one thing only. And then you go and you gotta look at a different app for something else. And it's like, man, if only I was able to help design this, Or maybe if they just would have asked me, this could have been so much more valuable. Well, that's what we're doing, right? I don't want to provide an app and shove it down your throat and say, well, use it or don't, but this is what you got. No, every user is a developer with us, right? You're going to be able to reach out to us, make your voice heard, and we're going to do our best to incorporate your ideas into this app, right? We want this to be your tool.

Shay

Foulk: That's awesome. Hey, hop back over to the website here real quick. Um, you know, so the, the only thing that we didn't talk about, I guess, on the future, or if we want to hit on a little bit more, talk about like DTC monitoring, talk about the notifications. I mean, like thousands of notifications that guys are getting in the fall and in the spring of, oh, your seat belt's unbuckled, or, you know, hazard lights are on, or whatever. I don't even know what all these notifications are. Uh, talk about what kind of the end goal is there and what could, you know, what can we be doing currently for those that are signing up here in 2026?

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, so when you sign up tomorrow, we go through and set up your operation center permissions. So I'm able to see your DTCs and stuff like that. So as you're combining, when you get an email, I get an email, you get a notification, I get a notification. So I'm able to look at that and guide you or assist you if you need it, right? So there was a lot of operations we were working with in '25 that they didn't have their notifications turned on, right? They were sick of the noise. They were getting notified way too much. They're like, if I'm in the combine and it dings on the corner post, it dings on my iPad, it dings on my phone, I'm just sick of it. They're able to silence them on their phone, but someone else is still looking at them, right? So if I see the DTC notification pop up, you don't hear from me, probably nothing you need to worry about, you can keep going.

But I've been reaching out for those, those big important ones that are like, all right, you need to stop, this isn't okay, or it's going to rain tomorrow, you need to get these filters and get this replaced, and that's going to make things go a lot better and prevent this other stuff. That's what we're kind of offering right now in the present. But in the future, I want to take that— the list of the manufacturers' DTCs and shut them off on your phone and all of your apps. And what I'm going to provide instead is John Deere or whoever is going to send that notification. I'm going to intercept it and send it to you, but it's going to say, hey, Shay, Your fuel efficiency is being degraded. You need to change your fuel filter instead of 94.18 fuel restriction, whatever, or some engineering term, right? It needs to be easy, layman's terms.

Everyone can understand it and it needs to come with an action, right? And maybe we even get to the point where you have, you have 8 to 10 hours before this happens. Right? We'll give you a what if you don't. But that all needs to be packaged together. And that's where we're going. But we wanted to get you a most valuable product out there, a minimum value product. So we can start collecting the data, we'll start receiving the DTCs. And then we'll start reorganizing those to be available for you guys to help make sense of some of this stuff that's going on.

Shay

Foulk: And here's where Ag View Solutions has come in. To be a partner and help develop this with HarvestGuard Solutions Outlook is because we have always said we want to go deep with your operation. You know, we don't want to go 2 inches deep and a mile wide. We want to go deep. We want to help you with the real issues that have a real impact on your business. And so even just getting signed up now as we have what I would call version 1, which still has amazing capabilities in it. So I don't want to degrade that at all. Amazing capabilities in here for version 1. We want this to be a long-term relationship to where we can really truly help you have dramatic impact in your business, relieve some of that maintenance and repair stress, empower the people within your organization, give you the tools to succeed. And then on the back end, you know, what are we doing with all that information?

How do we compile that? How do we make sure that when you go to, to trade that machine or sell that machine, that you have some really actionable detailed documented maintenance outlook. Here's what we did. Here's how the machine ran. That's what separates HarvestGuard Solutions from the other equipment maintenance tracking apps that are out there is the level of detail, the level of professionalism, and the outlook that when you sign up to work with HarvestGuard Solutions, we are a part of your team. We are here for you. We are here to help improve your business as we move forward. Any final thoughts on that, Nathan?

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, no, and that was a good segue because, you know, the reason we're documenting all this obviously is to keep you up and running, uh, and make sure you don't break down. But what about when you go to sell that machine, right? Like, oh, I just spent all that time documenting everything and now I'm gonna go to sell it. Well, let's pass it on to the next guy, right? So think TractorFax, right? You have Carfax, everyone's kind of heard of that. Tractor Facts is you— our vision is to have a barcode on the side of the piece of equipment. You scan it, you have an A+ machine maintenance history. That's the tractor I want to buy. You can click on it and you can say, yep, 250-hour service interval. This is how much it costs. This is everything that they did.

You can see all of that information instead of buying a piece of equipment and the guy says everything that's been done to it's been done to it and it's ready to go. Well, yeah, thanks, right? But what's that really mean?

Shay

Foulk: Right?

Nathan

Albert: And then if you go up to a piece of equipment sitting on the lot, you can scan it, it's got a C or a D+ maintenance record, maybe I'll move to the next one. Or maybe for your operation, that's what you want. But at least it's out there and in front of you and it's transparent.

Shay

Foulk: And this becomes a standard moving forward. I really don't see any two ways around it. You have to have this information. And why would I as a farmer want to buy a piece of used equipment that I didn't have that, you know, I always chuckle, The two things that you laugh at is call for pricing and then field ready. Okay. One, I don't want to call for pricing. And two, I don't think it's probably field ready.

Nathan

Albert: And field ready for who?

Shay

Foulk: Yeah, for who? Right. So now we have the opportunity to engage some of that. So Nathan, let's put a bow on this thing. People that are listening, if they want to get onboarded and they're pumped up, they're excited about this, they should go to harvestguardsolutions.com or give you a call. Talk about the onboarding process here. What that looks like, what they can expect when they get onboarded with HarvestGuard solutions.

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, yeah. So when you click complete onboarding, you're going to get a link to an onboarding form. And there's— it takes you 15 minutes, I think. And we— because we ask some questions because we truly want to understand your organization. We're trying to tailor notifications and build your package for you. So it takes just a little bit of time to go through, and then you'll receive an email afterwards providing the rest of the steps that we need you to do. You'll have those— a consent, a consent form, right, that just lets you know that we're utilizing your machine data. We're not selling it, we're not doing anything like that. We're helping, we're using your data to help you and others. And then you will have to go into Operations Center, provide access to Harvest Guard Solutions. We show you exactly how to do that.

And these things all happen before our actual onboarding form. It's just to kind of save everyone, everyone time. Sorry, our actual onboarding meeting. And then once that stuff's done, you'll issue payment and you'll be provided a calendar link. To set up a, a one-on-one meeting, and we will go through the specifics of this, these offerings, right? I'll walk, I'll pull up Operation Center, um, we'll confirm that your operation is visible in there. You can see all the information. I'll pull up Pro Service. We can give a tutorial on that, show you how you can program your own machines, um, show you how you can get your repair manuals, your service manuals, all that stuff. I'll walk, walk you through everything, show you how to document stuff inside the app, the whole kit and caboodle.

Shay

Foulk: Yeah. Now, uh, you know, people have questions around data, right? Your data's worth something. People got all turned up about the, the Climate stuff, and, and, and for good reason. You know, your data is your data. Talk to me about data management and just maybe help put some people's minds at ease about you know, what are we doing with the data? How do we utilize it? It's really just for the application of what we're talking about here today. We're not selling this, we're not doing anything with it on the backend. It's making sure that we are providing your team the best data access.

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, think of it like, yeah, when we connect to your data, it goes into a vault categorized by machine model, right? Now if someone else has a problem with that same machine model, we're gonna open up the Vault and slide out the file with that machine model and say, no names, no nothing. It's just we're gonna look down through that file and say, oh, we had a broken part A, broken part B, broken part C, and we're gonna see if there's a match, and that's all we're gonna utilize your data for is to help, help people along in, in that aspect. Right? Farming's already hard enough. Because everyone else is already holding all their cards so close to their body. But when it comes to your equipment and being efficient, iron is iron, right? And we're just trying to help keep everyone moving.

And that's all we're using, using your information for, is to keep you up and running and keep someone else up and running.

Shay

Foulk: Now, earlier you had your icon of the lightning bolt that was equipment that's not connected through Ops Center Outlook there. There's a lot of guys that don't like green paint, Nathan. They like red paint or yellow paint or gray paint or whatever it is. Talk through what this might look like for someone that's running Case equipment, Fendt, you know, whatever it may be, and why they should still get onboarded and have the data available for the maintenance tracking and some of that other stuff. You know, what's the value there to those users?

Nathan

Albert: Yeah. So right now we're working on another package, if you will, right? So if you're not a John Deere user and you don't have an operation account, I'm going to say coming soon you'll have the ability to still get onboarded, still in just, just to use the maintenance app, just to get organized. You'll be able to come in here, manually add all of your equipment, document all your service maintenance repair records, the cost. Financially, now you know how much you're spending on each piece of equipment. So you're able to do that analysis and say it's time to trade this machine in, or I'm going to keep it and roll it another year. Now we're getting organized because in the future we're not, we're not just always going to have John Deere connection, right? We're going to roll to Case, New Holland, Fendt.

We're going to go out and make these connections with these other manufacturers. And if you already have all your data stored and documented in your repair history, as soon as we make that connection, boom, we can pull in all this maintenance information and we're that much smarter right away on day one.

Shay

Foulk: Yeah, that's amazing. Okay, so I think, I think that covers everything that we wanted to hit on. Any final comments from your end, Nathan?

Nathan

Albert: All I want to say is thank you, Shea, and thank you to everyone, everyone watching. You know, we're going to make a good product here and I just want you on the team.

Shay

Foulk: Yeah, and guys, I've watched this for a year. Nathan and the other team members with HarvestGuard Solutions, they're pouring their heart and soul into it. They wanna make sure this is a great product. The Ag View Solutions team stands behind it from a serviceability, from the value that it's gonna provide, and more importantly, from the methodology that goes into why is this important? Why are we making these decisions? And why do we wanna be part of HarvestGuard Solutions? So again, if you wanna pull up the website there, Nathan, go over to harvestguardsolutions.com. In the top right, you're gonna have a complete onboarding. Get that form filled out. And Nathan, I know that you've kind of segregated some time throughout your week of doing some onboarding calls and stuff like that, making yourself available kind of 1 or 2 time windows a week. So that's what users can expect.

I'm very pumped for what HarvestGuard Solutions looks like here in 2026. And thank you, Nathan, for your time and effort into this.

Nathan

Albert: Yeah, thank you.

Shay

Foulk: And thank you everyone for listening to another episode of the Ag View Pitch. We will catch you next time.
